Rats and flooding: putting your home at risk

When Hurricane Angus struck the UK last week, it certainly created a great deal of damage. Of course, some people were able to turn what could have been a disaster into something a little more pleasant, such as the people on a GWR train who found themselves stranded at Taunton with free pizza courtesy of Domino’s Pizza and Great Western Railways.

Cleankill Becomes 14th UK Company to Receive New European Pest Control Quality Standard

Cleankill Pest Control has become the 14th pest control company in the UK to be certified BS EN 16636:2015 – The Management of Public Health Pest Species Including Bird Control. Receiving this accreditation confirms that Cleankill has the correct systems in place to deliver first-class, safe and efficient pest control services in the United Kingdom. Certification runs from 24th March 2016 until 23rd March 2019, with an interim audit during the middle year.

Why doing business responsibly makes good sense for everyone

Cleankill as a company only has two assets – its staff and its customers, without these there is no business. Our responsibility is to train, encourage and support our staff in their work and in their welfare, so that they will in turn carry out their work to the best of their abilities and promote the image of Cleankill as the best provider of pest control services to their clients.

A worthwhile New Year's resolution

A New Year means, of course, the inevitable New Year’s resolution. We all start the New Year with the best of intentions and then watch as they slowly slip away. By the end of the year, most of us have completely forgotten our resolutions, just in time for them to become next year’s resolution. This year, however, I have a New Year’s resolution suggestion for your business that you will thank me for this time next year.

Cleankill's Chris is one of six most qualified pest controllers in country

We knew that our very own Chris Davis (Cleankill Service and Technical Manager) is one of the most experienced and able pest controllers not only in the South East but in the country.

This was confirmed when we heard that he had passed his Level 3 Diploma in Pest Control and added this to his graduate and post-graduate qualifications.

Chris is one of only six people in the country to have passed this tough exam which has an emphasis on pest control management, and includes completion of 12 assignments covering different pest control scenarios that he’s dealt with.

Cleankill shortlisted in facilities management awards

Surrey-based Cleankill Pest Control has reached the finals of a prestigious national competition run by the professional body for facilities managers.

Cleankill was shortlisted along with four other companies in the FM Service Provider of the Year (SME) category of the British Institute of Facilities Management (BIFM) Awards 2014.

It is the first time Cleankill has entered the awards and staff and the Croydon-based company are thrilled to have reached the last stage of the competition.
